Mullens St. Studio remains open as a No-Contact Studio – No-contact mean there will be no human contact at opening. Customers will be provided with an access code to open the studio. Studio will be set up to shoot and you will be left on your own during your hire period.
All we ask is that you return the studio to the exact way you found it as when you arrived. Cleaning products, hand wash, dish washing liquid, disinfectant etc will be on tables, including trigger, tea coffee and mineral water and filter water.
We are keeping across all Government announcements and most recently the Federal and various State Government announcements regarding further restrictions in terms of closures of more venues and social distancing requirements.
Some media have incorrectly described this as a “lockdown”, so we wanted to provide some facts to clarify any potential misunderstandings:
- The government restrictions are designed to limit large congregations in public. They apply to businesses like pubs, bars, nightclubs, cinemas, gyms and places of worship
- The restrictions do NOT apply to the hiring of photography studios, hair salons, barber shops or beauty salons. The federal and state governments have been very clear about what type of businesses will be shut down. Hiring a photography studio is not among the types of activities that are currently impacted or restricted.
- We do however recommend that you apply social distancing in all interactions (keep 1.5 metres between you and your colleagues) eliminating contact such as handshakes and hugs.
- For those professions where human contact is unavoidable i.e. MUA’s. Use alcohol-based hand sanitisers before and after treatments and have it on hand for customers too. Personal protection equipment (PPE) is really great. Face masks are not recommended by WHO, but you might find it helps make models feel more comfortable
